Opening Week 2011

December 1, 2011

A few pictures from Thanksgiving week as Cooper’s Tree Farm opens for business in 2011. We’ve been up in the winding backroads and deep hollers of Little Canada and Tuckasegee, North Carolina, bringing fresh-cut Fraser firs back to Northeast Georgia…and having fun in the process!

What Are You Dreaming Of?

Snow on Leyland Cypress

Cooper’s Tree Farm opens its doors tomorrow for the start of the 2010 holiday season. The weather forecast looks stunning. We’ve just returned from North Carolina with the Fraser firs, which are beautiful and fresh as always. The cedar and Leyland rows are straight and trim. The petting zoo pen is ready for a passel of fuzzy occupants. Only one thing is missing–you!

We can’t wait to see you and your family over the next month. The upcoming weekends are going to be busy, but we’ll be at the tree farm every day from now until Christmas, 9:30 am to 7:30 pm. Hopefully, some time between now and then, a little of the white stuff will fall, too.

Merry Christmas!

Only the Best Christmas Trees

November 10, 2010

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, we’ve been spending our days tirelessly searching for the very best Fraser firs. Of course, Cooper’s Tree Farm prides itself on offering only the prettiest and freshest Christmas trees.  And finding top-notch Fraser firs has meant countless hours driving over the winding mountain roads of western North Carolina, where the shapely and fragrant tree only grows at elevations above 4500 feet.

In order to bring Frasers of the highest quality to Northeast Georgia, we’ve partnered with the Browns, another farming family, who hail from the vicinity of Tuckasegee, North Carolina. Michael Brown and his family are mountain folk. They know the valleys and peaks of their landscape like the back of their hands. They grow exceptional Fraser firs themselves, and they know where to find other trees that meet our standards of quality.

When it comes to the pursuit of the perfect Christmas tree, no ridge is too high nor holler too deep. You can count on us to handpick and deliver only the best Fraser firs back to Cooper’s Tree Farm.
